The winds will blow on Wednesday, so watch out for falling tree limbs blowing debris and be extra careful driving if you have a high-profile vehicle.
The National Weather Service in Peachtree City issued a wind advisory from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. on Wednesday. A wind advisory means that sustained wind speeds of at least 20 mph, or gusts to 35 mph or stronger are expected.
Winds will be out of the west rom 15-25 mph, with gusts up to 40 mph. The impacts of the gusting wind will include:
- Driving high profile vehicles may become difficult, especially along north to south oriented roads.
- Loose objects may be blown around.
- With very wet soils some trees and tree limbs may be knocked down as well.
