Last month, people from all walks of life came together to Think Pink and raise awareness of Breast Cancer. In November, it is time to once again rally together to fight another form of cancer that frequently strikes men.
According to the American Cancer Society, one in six American men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetimes. Prostate cancer is the second leading cancer killer of American men, with one out of every 36 diagnosed dying from the disease.
Although the disease rarely strikes before the age of 40, it is important to raise awareness of prostate cancer for men of all ages. To that effect, November has been declared "Movember."
Starting on Nov. 1, "Mo Bros" grow moustaches and post pictures of their progress on the Movember website. Mo Bros are encouraged to seek sponsorship for their moustaches, with all the proceeds going towards prostate and testicular cancer research.

For the month of November, Mo Bros become walking advertisement for prostate and testicular cancer awareness, endeavoring to share their knowledge of awesome moustaches and ways to become healthier and potentially avoid prostate or testicular cancer.
At the end of the month, Mo Bros (and "Mo Sistas") create and attend Movember parties or can attend one of the Movember-sanctioned "Gala Partés" held around the world.
