Three people have been taken to Northside Hospital-Cherokee with minor injuries after a three-vehicle accident on Highway 140 near Laurel Canyon.
Just before 4:30 p.m. today, Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services received word of an accident involving a Ford pickup truck driven by a 51-year-old man, a Scion driven by a 16-year-old boy and a GMC Sierra driven by a 43-year-old man, spokesman Tim Cavender said.
"The wreck looked bad," he said. "Nothing major, really."
Still, three were taken Northside, Cavender said, "just to be checked out."
