The Great Pumpkin Festival will once again take over Canton's downtown Cannon Park this afternoon.
If you're heading out to the park today, dress warm! The high temperature is expected to be 64 degrees. The National Weather Service also says that we will be under mostly cloudy skies throughout the afternoon.
The fun kicks off at 1:00 p.m., with an hour of trick-or-treating by costumed youngsters (don't forget to submit your costume to Patch's Best Halloween Costume in America Contest!), followed by a parade of costumes and a costume contest at 2.
Throughout the day, there will be hay rides, face painting and a bounce house. There will also be plenty of games for young and old alike. Expect plenty of music to accompany all this excitement, too!
The final voting for The Great Scarecrow Contest will go on at the festival, and the winner of the competition will be announced.
