Rain today—and possible minor street flooding.

With rain threatening to drench Cherokee County this weekend, the 8th annual Touch-A-Truck event held by the Cherokee Recreation and Parks Agency has been cancelled.

The agency has rescheduled the event for 10 a.m. Saturday Oct. 5 at CRPA's Recreation Center, said CRPA Recreation Coordinator Kate Borden.

The center is located at 7545 Main Street in Woodstock.

The free event is for children to come out and explore a slew of vehicles available on site including fire trucks, police cars, ambulances, motorcycles, race cars, dump trucks and recycling trucks.
