An informal gathering of the Canton City Council will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. for the purposes of reviewing renovation plans for the council's meeting area.
In February, the city council approved a $22,000 contract with Mark Robillard Architects of Canton to upgrade the sanctuary space within City Hall.
The renovations will include the removal of asbestos, demolishing the pipe organ room, replacing the ceiling, and adding catwalks in the attic.
Work on City Hall is expected to begin on June 3 and completed on Aug. 9.
A complete explanation of the renovation can be found in the PDF attached to this article.
