It sure doesn't feel like it now, but spring is coming. Soon, grass will turn greener, temperatures will turn higher, and people from all over the region will turn out to the Historic Downtown Canton Farmers' Market.
The weekly event will begin on Saturday, May 11, and operate until Oct. 26. Each Saturday, vendors will be in Cannon Park, the heart of historic downtown, selling their farm fresh produce, handmade goods, and other locally made goods.
Although the event is still over a month away, vendors and farmers can begin applying now for booths at the market. For $5 a week, vendors are allotted a 10 foot by 10 foot space to set up a stall. Vendors must bring their own tables, canopies and petty cash for transactions. All products sold at vendor stalls must be grown or produced by the vendors.
To register for the farmers' market, complete the attached packet and submit it to the City of Canton. There are several ways to submit the packet:

All vendors must confirm their future attendance with the city by the Tuesday before the next event at 5 p.m. in order to keep their stall location.
